Introducing Beautiful Day

December 30, 2010 by JustRite Papercraft 5 Comments

It's another beautiful day here at JustRite, as we have another preview of Spring!  You will love the four borders and three flowers in this Beautiful Day stamp set (snow drop, lily, iris) along with one of my favorite sentiments in a gorgeous font, in this large oval JustRite Original ribbed set.  It retails for $16.95:

JB-09270-lg Beautiful Day

This set is currently available on our Pre-Order website and should arrive in our warehouse and be ready for shipping next week!  You'll use this set for Valentine's Day, birthdays, Easter, Mother's Day, teachers, grandparents, sympathy and thank you cards, especially combined with our new Happy Everything Tag Kit!

Kellie Fortin used the iris image in the Beautiful Day stamp set to create this Mother's Day card:

Beautiful Day

She gold embossed the beautiful border in the set to create a golden frame for the iris image.  Then she used the tear drop corner dies from the JustRite Nested Sentiment Die set to embellish the top corners of the card and used the small double ended tear drop tag from the die set to frame the Happy Mother's Day Sentiment from the Happy Everything Tag Kit.

CLose up of A beautiful day

Kellie added texture to the leaves of the iris by adding Copic Colorless Blender solution to a paper towel and dabbed the leaves with the paper towel.

Sharon Harnist designed this set of notecards (another re-purposed dollar bin find!), using the other two floral images in this set, the snow drop and lily:

BeautifulDaySet-SH

To color the white snow drops, Sharon stamped the floral image with black ink on white cardstock and then used Copic C1 & C3 to add shading to the white flowers.  Rather than leaving the flowers just white, you'll be amazed at what adding a little shading will do for them!  Sharon also airbrushed the background with Copic Y32 while it was still in the die – having the background and greenery colors all around the white flowers will really make them pop!

BeautifulDaySnowDrop-SH

A little Clear Copic Atyou Spica Glitter Pen makes the white flowers shimmer and Melon Glitter Pen was used on the stems.  The border was stamped with Memento Rose Bud ink and the center was die cut separately and popped up on foam tape.

The lilies were colored to resemble pink star gazers — using a very light Copic R000 to blend the R81, R83 & R85 colors on the lilies (not quite to the edges) helps make the outer edges appear white:

BeautifulDayLily-SH

Take away a little more color around the outer edges, if needed, using Copic Colorless Blender marker.  Lemon Copic Atyou Spica Glitter Pen was used on the stamens of the lilies.  The border was stamped with Lettuce dye ink and then colored with Copic Y32.  The outer embossed edge of the Spellbinders Classic Oval Nestabilities die cut was colored with R83 Copic marker.  Light green rhinestones accent the border.

BeautifulDaySent-SH

The pretty sentiment from this set was stamped by itself (without a border) on the insides of the cards.

Tomorrow we'll have a new stamp set to show you that you'll use all throughout the new year, so we hope you'll check back in!

Introducing You’re So Sweet

December 29, 2010 by JustRite Papercraft 10 Comments

You will be reaching for this new stamp set for Valentine's Day and every day — it's a fabulous general purpose set for thinking of you, just because, you're so sweet, and thank you cards!  This JustRite Original ribbed 2" round set contains 6 interchangeable borders and 6 centers.  It retails for $14.95:

2" You're So Sweet - Interlocking

This set is currently available on our Pre-Order website and is due into our warehouse to begin shipping next week.

Kellie Fortin designed this thank you, "You're so Sweet" card by coloring the center with Copic markers to match the colors in the October Afternoon designer paper she used.

YOu are so Sweet Card photo 2

You will have so much fun working with this set…from fun to elegant, this set has something for everyone.  Next week we will be showing you how to use this set with some of our new cling designs to create FABULOUS VALENTINES!

Sharon Harnist designed this set of four notecards and note pad by using a set of dollar bin monogrammed notecards . . . you know, the ones that are always left over at the store and you can never find YOUR monogram?!!  Here's how they started out:

YoureSoSweetGroupB4SH

Now they can serve a great purpose — a nicely coordinated set of customized notecards!

YoureSoSweetGroupSH

See how differently this set can look, just by changing out the borders and stamping the centers in different colors:

YoureSoSweet2ThxSo-SH

Left card closeup:

YoureSoSweet2ThxSo-2SH

Right card closeup:

YoureSoSweet2ThxSo-1SH

The centers of the card below and notepad were colored with Copic markers, just to show you how versatile they can be, by custom coloring them to match your project:

YoureSoSweet2ColoredSH

And just in case you do find one of those monograms that ARE yours and you'd like to customize it, I've stamped the "Thank you" border, then die cut it like a donut and layering it onto another complimentary "donut" cardstock layer:

YoureSoSweetThxMonoSH

You'll reach for this set time and again over the years!  We'll be back tomorrow with another new introduction, so we hope you'll join us!

Introducing The Greatest Joy & Happy Everything Tag Making Kit

December 28, 2010 by JustRite Papercraft 6 Comments

Today we are introducing another beautiful floral stamp set, our large oval JustRite original ribbed, The Greatest Joy – set of four interchangeable centers and four borders (flowers are crocus, rose & daffodil), retailing for $16.95:

JB 09265 The Greatest Joy

This set is currently in our warehouse and shipping!

Kellie Fortin used the pretty daffodil center from the Greatest Joy set plus the Easter sentiment from our new Happy Everything Tag Making Kit to create her Easter card:

THe Greatest Joy - Daffodils

The Happy Everything Tag Kit set (shown below) comes with 18 mini stamps for every "Happy Occasion" you can think of, plus four NEW JustRite Custom Spellbinders Tag Dies!  Throughout the next two weeks we will be showing you all the great ways to use this fun tag making kit.  We have a very exciting 2011 planned for you, so sit back and enjoy our new releases!

CLose up of the Greatest Joy Daffodils

Kellie used JustRite's Buttercup Trio & Soft Green Quad Copic marker sets to color the daffodils, and BG000 from our Turquoise Trio for the background.  Y15 (from our Golden Trio) was used to color the embossed edges of the Classic Scalloped Rectangle Nestabilities die cut and also to make the sentiment really pop on our die cut tag.  Kellie matted the Classic Scalloped Rectangle with a Labels Fourteen mat layer.

JB-09820-Happy-Everything-WEB-lg
You will love all the mini sentiments in the Happy Everything Kit, they are just the perfect size to fit in our new tag dies in the kit as well as the perfect size for using with our small double ended tear drop die from our Nested Sentiment Dies.

Here is what comes in the Nested Sentiment Die Set:

JB 08955 Nested Sentiment Dies WEB

Sharon Harnist used the wonderful sentiment center included in The Greatest Joy set, as the main attraction for a 3.50" square sticky note cover:

TheGreatestJoyPostItSH

Isn't this a gorgeous font?!!  Sharon thought the pretty scroll border fit well with the Webster's Pages Petite Papers (Hollywood Vogue) she used, all stamped in classic black ink on pretty peach coordinating solid Webster's paper.  The sentiment was die cut with Spellbinders Classic Oval Nestabilities and then layered onto a black Scalloped Classic Oval die cut.

TheGreatestJoyPostIN-SH

Sharon will have the tutorial for this quick project in our first Friday Challenge next year, so please check back for that on January 7!  We hope you'll return tomorrow to see another very "sweet" new stamp set!

Introducing Mother Nature’s Gifts

December 20, 2010 by JustRite Papercraft 3 Comments

This week we're getting ready for Spring and Valentine's Day here at JustRite Stampers, and will be introducing you to some beautiful new floral and general purpose stamp sets that you will use year round!  Here's the first, Mother Nature's Gifts, a 3-1/4" round JustRite original ribbed set of four interchangeable centers (the flowers are lily, dahlia, hibiscus) and four borders.  It retails for $16.95:

JB 09260 Mother Natures Gifts Impressions

This set is currently in our warehouse and shipping!  Here's my sample with this set:

Mother Natures Gifts-SHwm

I stamped the Dahlia flower onto solid Basic Grey paper and then did a little shading with my Copic markers (colors are listed below).  The flower was cut out and popped up with foam tape over another solid die cut circle of BG paper, which was all layered into the center of the scroll border that I stamped with cocoa ink onto Neenah Natural White cardstock.  The edges of the border were sponged with Corduroy Distress Ink and pink Zva crystals added to the centers of the scroll work.

The "Thinking of you" sentiment center was stamped without a border directly onto the lower right card front.  Coordinating Basic Grey patterned paper was die cut with a Spellbinders scalloped border die and threaded with ribbon.  The card measures 4.25" wide x 6" tall.

We hope you'll be back to see another pretty floral introduction tomorrow!

Holiday Friendship & JustRite Sponsoring Copic Creations Challenge!

December 15, 2010 by JustRite Papercraft 6 Comments

Today's card is about friendship at the holidays, featuring Friendship Nested Sentiments and JustRite's new Custom Dies!

FriendshipCmasSH

The "Friends are a gift" sentiment was stamped with Memento Rhubarb Stalk ink onto Neenah Natural White cardstock and then die cut with the medium plain frame (top grouping of dies below) from our Nested Sentiment Dies:

The sentiment was sponged with Memento Desert Sand ink and then mounted with foam tape to red patterned paper that was die cut with the large tag die from our Nested Frame Dies (lower left below):

You will really love how well these two Custom Die sets mingle together and compliment each other so nicely!  And since our dies are made by Spellbinders, they have that beautiful trademark embossed edge!

FriendshipCmasCU-SH

A paper rosette was die cut from more coordinating Pink Paislee Father Christmas paper, mounted to a paper doily that was sponged with Desert Sand ink, and accented with a flat pearl brad.  I love all the dimension this card has, with the popped-up sentiment and rosette:

FriendshipCmasCUflat-SH

I finished the inside of my card with a small holly Christmas Nested Frame, stamped with Adirondack Lettuce dye ink and colored with Copic markers R27 (from JustRite's Blush Trio) and YG93 (from our Olive Trio):

FriendshipCmasIN-SH

The holly frame was die cut with the large "top-knot" frame die from our Nested Sentiment Dies.  "May you be blessed this holiday season" was stamped with Rubarb Stalk ink and then die cut with the same medium plain frame die as above, from our Nested Sentiment Dies.

Just a reminder that all of our Nested Frames and Nested Sentiment stamp sets (like the ones I used here) are 20% off through December 30 and all of our JustRite Original ribbed Christmas stamp sets are 25% off through December 30!

Introducing Garden Fairy Seeds- Blog Candy

December 13, 2010 by JustRite Papercraft 53 Comments

Today we wanted to formally introduce to you another stamp set in our Fairy Garden series, Garden Fairy Seeds:

JR-CL-Garden-Fairy-Seeds-PKG

While you might naturally turn to these Fairy Garden Series of stamps in the Spring or Summer or for little girl's projects, I wanted to show you today how versatile they can be this time of year, too!  You might remember this Autumn Fairy card I showed you last month.  And here's our latest Garden Fairy, sprinkling her magic fairy dust sugar on cookies for Santa!

GardenFairySeedCookiesSH

She reminds me of a sugar plum fairy!  I stamped the fairy onto Neenah Natural White cardstock with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and colored her with the Copic markers listed below.  She was cut out and popped up on foam tape on a piece of Webster's Sweet Season Petite Pages trimmed to 4.25" x 6".

GardenFairySeedCookiesCU-SH

I die cut coordinating Sweet Season snowflake paper using Spellbinders Big Scalloped Border Petites die and added it to the top of the card, then wove rose satin ribbon through the die cut holes.  The snowflake medallion was made with JustRite's Clear Stamper 1-5/8" and Times New Roman 15-pt Font around the border, spelling out "Magic Cookies For Santa", stamped with Memento Rose Bud ink.  The "Fairy Dust" sentiment is from Garden Fairy Seeds and was stamped with Memento Bamboo Leaves ink.  The medallion was die cut and layered onto a Spellbinders die cut snowflake.  Of course, no fairy scene is complete, in my opinion, without a sprinkling of sparkle, so Star Dust Stickles accents the fairy's sugar duster and candy on the Webster's Pages houses!

These JustRite design team members also have projects featuring Garden Fairy Seeds – please click on their hyperlinked names to be taken to their blog posts with full details!

Angela Barkhouse made this pretty fairy card to add sparkle to someone's day:

Barb Schram created this darling snowflake fairy box, to delight the recepient with its holiday contents:
